Terms of business
The General Terms and Conditions apply to contracts created between the company Kolesarska zveza Slovenije and the customer through our online store shop.kolesarska-zveza.si.
The buyer can be a natural or legal person, taking into account the information provided when placing the order. A customer who is a natural person and acquires or uses goods and services for purposes outside his professional or gainful activity is subject to the provisions of the law governing consumer protection. In cases where the order is executed through the online store shop.kolesarska-zveza.si by a legal or natural person performing a gainful activity, regardless of its legal organizational form, it is subject to the provisions of the law governing consumer protection only in cases where this is specifically provided in the said law.
We advise you to thoroughly read the general terms and conditions before using the online store shop.kolesarska-zveza.si. The buyer is bound by the general conditions that are valid at the time of purchase (placing an online order).
When placing an order, the user is reminded of the general terms and conditions of business and confirms his / her acquaintance with them by placing an order.
Conclusion of the contract
The purchase contract between the Slovenian Cycling Federation and the customer is concluded in the online store shop.kolesarska-zveza.si at the moment when the Slovenian Cycling Federation sends the customer the first electronic message confirming his order. From this moment on, all prices and other conditions are fixed and apply to both the Slovenian Cycling Federation and the buyer.
The sales contract (i.e. the first electronic message about the status of the order) is stored in electronic form on the server of the Slovenian Cycling Federation and is available to customers via “my account” and e-mail.
Prices are in EUR and include VAT. VAT payers are required to provide their tax number when registering. The Slovenian Cycling Federation tries to take the best possible care for the up-to-dateness and correctness of the data contained in the online store shop.kolesarska-zveza.si. Nevertheless, the delivery time or price can change so quickly that the Slovenian Cycling Federation sometimes fails to correct the information on the website. In such a case, the Slovenian Cycling Federation will notify the customer of the changes and allow him to withdraw from the contract or replace the ordered item.
Delivery is free for orders over € 200!
The costs of packaging and shipping of goods for orders with a value of less than € 200 are given in the section “Postage” and amount to € 3.00 for delivery in Slovenia, regardless of the size and weight of the shipment. VAT is already included in the delivery price.
In the case of a small order, the shipment is delivered to you by a postal employee, but if the order is larger, we deliver the goods to you in the shortest possible time with our delivery vehicle.
We deliver the ordered goods on the online store shop.kolesarska-zveza.si as soon as possible. As a rule, the ordered items go on the same working day after receiving the payment, but no later than 14 days from your confirmed order.
The exception is larger orders. In this case, we agree on the time of dispatch of the goods by phone (call us at +386 1 239 66 00).

Pošta Slovenije delivers the ordered products to the address you specified as the delivery address. The cost of Pošta Slovenije’s commission for payment by proforma invoice or via the Paypal system is included in the delivery cost of € 3.00.
Deliveries take place mostly in the morning. In case you cannot pick up the shipment at the time of delivery, you can pick it up later at the nearest Pošta Slovenije (15 days).
Note: these conditions and delivery costs apply within the Republic of Slovenia.
For delivery to other EU countries and third countries, the delivery cost is € 10.
Methods of payment
The online store shop.kolesarska-zveza.si enables the following payment methods:
- Bank Transfer
Products will be delivered upon receipt of your payment to our business account. Payment has to be proceed in 5 working days from placement of the order. In case that payment is not received in that period of time, your order will be canceled. Anyway you are free to make new order.
- Payment via Paypal (registered users or credit cards)

Products will be delivered upon receipt of your payment to our Paypal account.
In order to be able to order products from our store, you can freely place them in the basket, from where you can, in case you change your mind, remove them at any time. We will send you an e-mail or call you by phone (of your choice) within 24 hours and you will confirm your order.

Withdrawal from the contract and return of goods
In the case of distance contracts, the consumer has the right, in accordance with the law governing consumer protection, to inform the company within 14 days of receiving the goods that he is withdrawing from the contract, without having to give a reason for his decision.
Pursuant to the aforementioned law, the buyer of the ordered goods in the online store shop.kolesarska-zveza.si has the right to notify the company within 14 days of receiving the goods at the e-mail address: email@example.com or at tel: +386 1 239 66 00 to withdraw from the contract without having to state the reason for its decision.
The only cost borne by the buyer in connection with the withdrawal from the contract is the direct cost of returning the goods.

The goods must be returned to the seller no later than 14 days from the submitted notice of withdrawal from the contract (purchase). The deadline starts one day after the date of receipt of the ordered goods. For the purpose of withdrawing from the contract, the consumer may optionally use the attached model withdrawal form. Regardless of the form of cancellation, the consumer must provide the company with a copy of the invoice.
The received goods must be returned undamaged, unaltered and in the original packaging.
The company returns the received payments to the buyer with the same means of payment as used by the buyer, and if the buyer agrees, the paid amount of the ordered goods is returned to the user’s bank account. Refunds will be made as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after receipt of the notice of withdrawal. In order to ensure the certainty, accuracy and timeliness of the return and to provide records of payments, the refund of the payment to the buyer by prior arrangement is made by transfer to his transaction account. The company may withhold payment until it receives the returned goods or until the consumer sends proof that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.

Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the consumer shall not be entitled to withdraw from the contract:
- goods manufactured to the consumer’s exact instructions and adapted to his personal needs;
- goods that are perishable or expire quickly;
- on the provision of services, if the company fulfills the contract in full and the provision of the service has started on the basis of the consumer’s explicit prior consent and with the consent to lose the right to withdraw from the contract when the company fully fulfills it;
- on the delivery of sealed audio or video recordings and computer programs, if the consumer has opened the security seal after delivery;
- the supply of newspapers, periodicals or magazines, except in the case of subscription contracts for the supply of such publications;
- on the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health or hygiene reasons, if the consumer has opened the seal after delivery;
- on the supply of goods which, by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other objects;
- accommodation not intended for permanent residence, the carriage of goods, the hire of vehicles, the preparation and delivery of food, or leisure services in which the undertaking undertakes to fulfill its obligation on a specific date or within a specified period;
- on the supply of digital content that is not delivered on a tangible medium, if the provision of the service has started with the consumer’s explicit prior consent and with the consent to thereby lose the right to withdraw from the contract.
Warranties and material error
Complaints arising from a material defect may be filed by the consumer in accordance with the law governing consumer protection for each purchased goods in the online store shop.kolesarska-zveza.si, if the purchased goods have a material defect.
According to the law governing consumer protection, the error is material:
- if the thing does not have the properties necessary for its normal use or for marketing
- if the thing does not have the properties necessary for the special use for which the buyer is buying it, but which was known to the seller or should have been known to him
- if the thing does not have the characteristics and qualities that were explicitly or tacitly agreed or prescribed
- if the seller has delivered a thing which does not correspond to the pattern or model, unless the pattern or model has been shown only for the purpose of notification.
Due to a material defect, the consumer can complain about the defect to the seller within 2 months from the discovery of the material defect, or within 2 years when the goods were taken over by the buyer.
The consumer may request at his own discretion: Elimination of the defect, refund of the amount paid in proportion to the defect, replacement of the goods or refund of the amount paid.
When exercising the rights under this title, the consumer must describe the defect in more detail to the trader in the defect notice and allow the seller to inspect the product. If the defect is not disputed, the trader must comply with the consumer’s claim as soon as possible, but no later than within 8 days. However, if there is a dispute about the defect, the trader must give the consumer a written answer within 8 days.
The right to exchange goods, refund the purchase price, warranty, material defects and incorrectly performed services are regulated in more detail by the provisions of the law governing consumer protection.

Limitation of liability
The Slovenian Cycling Federation strives to ensure the up-to-dateness and accuracy of the information published on its website. Nevertheless, the delivery time or price can change so quickly that the company Kolesarska zveza Slovenije sometimes fails to correct the information on the website. In such a case, the company Kolesarska zveza Slovenije will notify the customer of the changes and enable him to withdraw from the contract or replace the ordered item.
Exclusion of liability
In case of technical problems on the website shop.kolesarska-zveza.si, we reserve the right to cancel orders placed, which were affected by a technical error. In the event of order cancellation, we will notify you as soon as possible and inform you of the next steps.

Complaints and disputes
In case of complaints, disputes, problems, the buyer can contact the provider on the telephone number +386 1 239 66 00, or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. The complaint is submitted via the e-mail address email@example.com. The appeal procedure is confidential.
The Slovenian Cycling Federation will respond to all complaints by e-mail or telephone as soon as possible and within the framework of legal obligations, depending on the type of complaint.
Out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes
In accordance with legal norms, we do not recognize any provider of out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes as competent for resolving consumer disputes that could be initiated by the consumer in accordance with the law governing out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes. The Cycling Association of Slovenia, which as a provider of goods and services enables the online store shop.kolesarska-zveza.si, publishes on its website an electronic link to the platform for online out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes. Protection of personal data
We are committed to protecting the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of users of the web portal shop.kolesarska-zveza.si.
The collector of personal data is the Cycling Association of Slovenia, Celovška cesta 25, 1000 Ljubljana.
The collected personal data will be used by the Manager exclusively for the services it offers. He will do everything necessary to protect them from any violations and abuses. The operator collects, manages, processes and stores user data for the purposes of providing services.
The Slovenian Cycling Federation keeps the following data of registered members of shop.kolesarska-zveza.si for an indefinite period of time: name and surname, e-mail address, contact telephone number, primary address and delivery addresses, country of residence, time and date of registration, other data provided by the user voluntarily enter into forms in the online store; other data that the user voluntarily adds subsequently in his web account.
The Slovenian Cycling Federation uses the stated personal data for the purposes of fulfilling the order (sending information material, offers, invoices) and other necessary communication with the user.
Under no circumstances will the user’s data be passed on to unauthorized persons.
The user is also responsible for the protection of personal data by ensuring the security of his e-mail address, username and password and the appropriate software (anti-virus) protection of his computer.
Registered users can stop using the online store at any time and can cancel their registration. They do so by notifying the cancellation of the registration in a written statement.
The collected data is processed by the Slovenian Cycling Federation until the person’s consent is revoked. You can send a written cancellation to shop.kolesarska-zveza.si. Regardless of the cancellation, the Slovenian Cycling Federation will use the data to fulfill contractual obligations.
